The S&P proxy is −0.08%, the Nasdaq proxy −0.10%, small caps −0.19% and the Dow proxy +0.16%. Crude is +0.87%, the vol proxy +0.44%, long Treasuries −0.10% and gold −0.34%. This morning UPS (+2.0%) and Centene (−2.0%) both beat their EPS estimates, and Hilton is −3.1% despite a beat. Coca-Cola ($0.87 est, implied about 2.7%) is −0.7% and Boeing (−$0.21 est, about 4.3%) +0.3%.

What X is saying
Accounts report the Ras Tanura fire followed an attack, and that the Saudi-led coalition intercepted Houthi missiles and drones overnight. Posts say OPEC+ is set to hold output steady at Sunday’s meeting, and that Iran is open to a shorter US proposal timeline. These are unconfirmed.
Insight
Oil is pulling the other way from yesterday. A strike near the kingdom’s biggest export terminal is the kind of headline that rebuilds a war premium quickly, yet crude is up less than 1%, which says traders are treating it as contained for now. Stocks are waiting on the Fed, and Celestica shows the AI hardware trade still pays for beats.
Desk stance
Publish mood is Choppy, matching Monday’s close. A quiet open with crude holding under 1% could move the 9:45 refresh to Waiting. Any confirmed damage to Saudi exports would push it toward Spooked.
